PlanetHS Announcements (new for 2013)
WBHS stopped using our previous announcements system in December 2012. We now have converted to Planeths.com. To receive PlanetHS announcements from WBHS, parents need to sign up at planeths.com.
GETTING STARTED: Follow these simple steps to complete parent registration. Once you have created an account, you will be able to receive announcement updates, but also to subscribe to classes, clubs, or teams that your student participates in.
These instructions may seem complicated, but when you see the process on the actual site it is actually simple and straightforward.
1. Go to www.planetHS.com
2. Under “join your friends now” click on “I’m a Parent.”
3. Complete your information:
b. E-mail address
c. New password
d. School—start typing the school name, and the computer will auto-fill with the school name. Drop down and click on your school name.
e. Birthday—click on the drop-box and scroll down to select the year you were born.
f. Gender-choose male or female.
g. Add your zip code
h. “stay informed”—please be sure both boxes are checked if you wish to receive both e-mails and texts.
i. Mobile number, including area code
j. @-click on the drop-box and select your cell phone provider and click on it.
k. Click on “join us now!”
4. This will automatically bring you to the “My PlanetHS” page on the website.
5. In the tabs across the top of the page, you will see “classes” and “clubs and teams.”
6. Click on “Clubs and teams” and you will see a selection of tabs appear in the middle of the page. You will see tabs labeled “student,” “athletic,” “class,” and “administrative.” Click on “administrative.”
7. Click on “Parents in the Know” and click on “Member ,” then confirm by clicking on “follow.”
8. You may also follow other clubs, classes or teams your student participates in, simply by following this same procedure with the icon corresponding to the club, class or team.
Congratulations! You are now a member of PlanetHS and as a follower of “Parents in the Know,” you will receive the WBHS announcements just as before.

Below describes how to subscribe/unsubscribe to our school's announcements under the old system, discontinued December 2012.
To subscribe to WBHS Announcements, click here. This will place your e-mail address in our database, and you will receive regular e-mail updates concerning WBHS events.
Go here. Then enter e-mail address again and click subscribe. Next, enter e-mail address and click login. This will email you a form to unsubscribe.
What if I subscribe and I don't receive updates?
This means that you may have entered the incorrect address. Please check that first. It could also mean that you forgot to go to your e-mail account and confirmed that you wanted to be a subscriber. Finally, it might mean that the emails are coming to you, but they are being directed to your junk mail. Go to your junk mail and mark the e-mail from WBHS as "not junk."
